CHICAGO/MILWAUKEE/THE TOWEL
KPACK/PHIL'S REPORT

I just would like to post a few thoughts, many of which have already been posted by others

Chicago:

Its been four days since the Chicago concert. I just want to say that it was a great time. It was so much fun meeting old and new faces from around the USA, Canada and of course Mark Wilson from South Africa. I want to extend a big thank you to Suzie Q and Tross for all the effort they extended to make this event possible. You girls are the greatest. The concert of course rocked, the guys were really enjoying themselves as others have already said. Burton as most of you know has been having problems with his shoulder, but this didn't hinder him from rockin' the Rosemont. He's a gamer and can play on my team anytime. Thanks fellow fans. Thanks to The Guess Who for an unforgetable evening before and after the show.

Milwaukee:

Its been almost two days since the show in Milwaukee. As Heartbroken Bopper said on Mark's board the band was even better than in Chicago. Yes, its hard to believe that they could be, but they were. They looked so well rested (especially BC) and seemed to be having the time of their lives. They loved those American Flag pins that a couple of fellow GW fans had made and managed to get to them. Great to see some fellow Whooligans at the show.

The Towel:

As a few of you know and many probably don't, I was fortunate enough to catch a white towel that BC threw at the encore of my first REAL Guess Who concert in Thunder Bay Ontario, June 17, 2000. As Sherry has already posted below, I have been hauling this towel around for ages, or at least since June 17, 2000. The towel has been to the St. Paul concert last December 15th where I missed BC by about five minutes, Hinckley on July 22, Moline on August 22, Chiciago this past Monday and finally Milwaukee on Wednesday night. I approached Burton with a great deal of apprehension about asking him to sign the towel, after all I was intruding on his private time before his concert. I can only say that he was most gracious. He could not have been nicer. This man truly does appreciate his fans. The towel will do no more traveling. It will be framed along with the tickets from the concert and the pen BC used to sign it, and hung next to the framed Running Back Through Canada Tour poster which the folks at Thunder Bay were kind enough to give me.

Thanks for hearing me out. A special thank you to all the fans Lorrie and I met in Chicago and Milwaukee and of course a BIG THANK YOU TO THE GUESS WHO.
